Students who appeared for the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) Plus One (+1) in March 2025 can check their scores on the official result websites — tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in.

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India – Friday, May 16, 2025 – The wait is finally over for the students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations! The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has just announced the results for the Class 10th board exams held between March 28 and April 15, 2025.
Overall Performance Highlights:
This year, a total of 9,13,036 students sat for the SSLC exams, and an impressive 93.80% of them have successfully passed. This marks a notable increase of 2.3% compared to the previous year’s pass percentage, showcasing the hard work and dedication of the students and educators across the state.
Gender-wise Results:
Girls have once again outperformed boys in these examinations. The pass percentage for female students stands at an impressive 95.88%, while the pass percentage for male students is 91.74%. This demonstrates the consistent academic excellence of girl students in Tamil Nadu.
Top Performing Districts:
The district of Sivagangai has emerged as the top-performing district in the state, with an outstanding pass percentage of 98.31%. This reflects the strong educational infrastructure and the commitment of students and teachers in the region. Other districts that have shown commendable performance include Virudhunagar and Thoothukudi.
Number of Students Scoring Perfect Marks:
In a testament to the students’ hard work and understanding of the subjects, a significant number have scored full marks in various subjects:
- Mathematics: 1,996 students achieved a perfect score of 100/100.
- Science: A remarkable 10,838 students scored a centum in Science.
- Social Science: 10,256 students secured full marks in Social Science.
- Tamil: 8 students achieved a perfect score.
- English: 346 students scored a perfect score in English.
Special Categories:
- Differently-abled Candidates: This category achieved a commendable pass percentage of 92.8%.
- Prison Inmates: Out of the 237 prisoners who appeared for the exam, 230 have passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 97%.
School-wise Performance:
- Private Schools: Have shown the highest pass percentage at 97.99%.
- Government-Aided Schools: Recorded a pass percentage of 93.63%.
- Government Schools: Achieved a pass percentage of 91.26%.
- An impressive 4,917 schools have achieved a 100% pass rate, highlighting the consistent quality of education across these institutions.
How to Check Your Results:
Students can now access their provisional mark sheets online through the following official websites:

- Via the DigiLocker platform
To check their results, students will need to enter their registration number and date of birth in the specified format (DD/MM/YYYY).
Steps to Download Your Marksheet:
- Visit any of the official websites mentioned above.
- Click on the link that says “SSLC March 2025 Results”.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Your provisional marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the result for future reference. It is advisable to take a printout as well.
Students will also receive their results via SMS on the mobile numbers provided during the registration process. The original marksheets will be distributed through their respective schools in the coming days.
